Baptism & Profession of Faith

Are you ready to take your next step in following Jesus? For some of you, it might mean to receive baptism. For others, if you've been baptized before, that next step might be to publicly profess your faith. Whether you are younger or older or somewhere in-between, we invite you to join this learning group. Pastor Phil and this group will explore the core pieces of what it means to be a Christian and discuss next steps in following Jesus.

This group will meet: Wednesday, November 18, November 25, and December 2 from 7:15-9:15pm.

At ClearView Church, baptism includes both the practice of infant baptism (for children born to believing parents) and adult baptism (for adults wishing to join ClearView Church, who have not previously been baptized in a Christian congregation). When an adult is baptized, this includes a public declaration of their faith in Jesus Christ. A public Profession of Faith is a milestone that involves individuals affirming their baptism, expressing personal trust in Jesus Christ, and pledging their commitment to follow Christ.
