DISCIPLESHIP PATHWAY · ENGAGE
Engage
How has God gifted and called you? Maybe you sense it's time to serve — but you're not sure where, or how your particular gifts, personality, and experiences fit. Discovering that is a journey worth taking, and you don't have to take it alone.
The Discover Your Gifts assessment is a wonderful next step. You'll gain tools for understanding how God has shaped you, you'll sit down afterward with one of our trained staff to talk through what you're learning and where it might lead — not only at ClearView, but among the people God has already placed around you at work, at home, and in your neighbourhood.
Discover Your Gifts builds on the Foundations of Faith courses — if you haven't taken those yet, they're a great place to start:
Foundations of Faith I: First Steps with Jesus
A friendly orientation to the Christian faith. You'll be introduced to prayer, reading the Bible, communion, and other practices at the heart of following Jesus. You'll also be encouraged to serve alongside others and discover what faith looks like in the real world.
Foundations of Faith II: Next Steps with Jesus
Picks up from the First Steps course by opening up all that is in the Bible and teaching you how to read it well. You'll learn alongside others who are newer to faith and want to grow their understanding of Scripture. Together you'll discover what's in the Bible (plus what's not!) and determine how it helps you in your everyday life.

Retreats and Seminars
Some seasons call for more than a weekly rhythm — a whole weekend away, or an evening focused on one thing that matters. Our retreats and seminars create space for deeper learning: unhurried time in Scripture, honest conversation, and practical teaching on the things that shape a life of faith — from prayer and spiritual practices to mental and emotional health to following Jesus in today’s culture. Topics change through the year; the invitation doesn't. Stay tuned to our weekly e-News or Sunday morning announcements for what is coming up next.
