Food For Life

Every Wednesday afternoon, ClearView Church supports individuals in need through our year-round food pantry. In partnership with The Compass Food Bank and Food For Life (a needs-based food recovery program that distributes nutritious food to many sites throughout Halton) we are able to promote food security in our immediate community.

Summers in the ClearView community sizzle! Join us as we host summer BBQs in partnership with Frontline Outreach, a charitable organization that helps local churches and organizations connect with local subsidized housing communities for the purposes of poverty relief and community investment. Our primary objective is to address the symptoms of poverty and to invest in children and youth to enable them to break free from poverty.

EduDeo: HANDS Team in Nicaragua

In conjunction with EduDeo HANDS (Helping Another Nation Develop Schools) ministry, twelve adults from ClearView Church are headed to Nicaragua in January 2019 on a learning and service trip.  The team will be beginning a school renovation – an effort that the community has been praying would be initiated for many years.  The ClearView team is very excited to be able to join with the local Nicaraguan team to assist in construction, and to provide financial support for this project, and to learn about Christian education in Nicaragua from some of the principals and teaching staff they will be working alongside.

One Mission Society Canada: The Vergara Family

ClearView Church supports the Vergaras through One Mission Society as they prepare to serve and minister in Colombia. Marco and Laura responded to God’s call to ministry in Colombia with a sincere desire to see the gospel of Jesus being worked in and through them. Working with the Federation of Confraternidad Christian Churches, Marco will be taking on a formal role as Worship Pastor and the administrator and developer of the church’s Music School Program. Together, the Vergaras will also be providing leadership and support to the Federation’s work in developing national and global partnerships reaching out to their 24 church planting projects and missionaries serving in different regions of Colombia.
