Anger

Pastor:
Passage: Proverbs 14:29-30, Jonah 4:1-9

Anger is everywhere, the “glittering vice” of our time, which makes figuring out how to “be angry but do not sin” a tough challenge. The story of Jonah exposes how anger curdles into a deadly vice when it becomes too quick, disproportionate, self-centred, or aimed ultimately at God for not running the world our way. It’s important to remember that when we are reflecting on anger we are somehow dealing with a great tension between self destruction and deep goodness.
