Friendship Club
ClearView hosts a wonderful club on Monday nights for the purpose of sharing God’s love and care with people who have intellectual disabilities.
Our Friends grow in their relationship with Christ and share their gifts as members of a church family alongside caring Christian mentors. Friendship Club is a fun place of singing, praying, dancing, eating and learning more about God. New adult mentors are always welcome (no special degree is required—just a loving willingness to see others grow and thrive in a Christian environment).
Friendship Club meets Monday evenings 7–8:30 pm.
If you are looking for a special place for someone you know, or are interested in learning more about being a mentor, contact Ellie Nyholt (friendship@clearviewchurch.com).
Griefshare
GriefShare is a healing ministry in support of those who are grieving the death of a loved one. This DVD-based 13-week seminar features grief experts and real-life stories, followed by a supportive small group discussion. GriefShare is held several times throughout the year at ClearView and neighbouring churches.
For more information contact Keith Kelder (keith.kelder@gmail.com).
Creative Sisters
Creative Sisters is a group of women who enjoy sewing, knitting, crocheting or cross-stitching. Meeting together since 2009, this group has lovingly sent their quilts to Kenya, Zambia, Uganda, Ukraine, Attawapiskat in Northern Ontario and to individuals in our church and community. This fun and welcoming group meets Monday mornings (except on holiday weekends and summer months). They would love for you to stop by and join them!
Creative Sisters meet Mondays 10:00 am–1:00 pm.
